TERMS OF REFERENCE OF BURSA SHUTTERFEST PHOTO CONTEST
Bursa Shutterfest is a contest that is opened to just foreigners and amateur who are living Bursa. All the contest photos will be printed by Bursa City Council.

Subject: Bursa Through Your Eyes
Rules of Participation:
1. The contest shall be organized in digital category.
2. The contest is open to just foreigners and amateur who are living Bursa. Solely the members of the selection committee and their first degree relatives shall not take part in.
3.Black & white and color photos shall be evaluated together.
4. Each participant may join with maximum 2 photos.
5. After the contest, the chosen photos to be sent to the contest will be exhibited between 9th and 14th June 2014 in Cemal Nadir Güler Gallery Hall, between 15th June and 14th July 2014 in Gren Kafe- Altıparmak and between 15th July and 15th August 2014 in Gren Kafe- Fsm.
6. Information required in the application form should be fulfilled completely.
7. The photos which won a prize and/or awarded honorable mentions in another contest will not be accepted.
8. The participant shall accept, declare and commit that all the works sent to the contest belong to him/her and all the relevant permissions are granted. Bursa Shutterfest Photo Contest does not take any responsibility regarding the photos of the participant. The rewards, titles and all such acquisitions achieved shall be withdrawn from those who acted beyond this declaration and acceptance.
9. The photos shall be sent in the resolution of minimum 2400 pixels and 300 dpi in the short edge, in the highest zipping quality, without watermarks and in JPEG format and via both foreignershutterfest@gmail.com and www.facebook.com/groups/shutterfest page.
11. The photos participating in the contest should be sent without passé partout and without margin. As the photos would stand as document, any intervention except basic color / light arrangements and simple cleaning applications shall not be accepted.
12. 3 winner, 3 mention will be chosen by Jury who are 3 professional Photo artists. 24 photos will be chosen by Shutterfest Facebook Page voting. Totally 30 photos will be chosen and exhibited in Galleries which mentioned Rule 5.
13. The award-winning photos will take place www.bursacitycouncil.org and in the Facebook pages of Shutterfest.
14. The results of competition will be informed to all of participants by www.bursacitycouncil.org and in the Facebook pages of Shutterfest.
15. The persons sending photos to the contest shall be deemed to accept the provisions of the terms of reference.
Participation Fee: No participation fee shall be charged.

Winner, Second and Third Prize: Bursa Shutterfest Plaque + Bursa Shutterfest Prize Certificate
Mention (3 prizes): Bursa Shutterfest Plaque + Bursa Shutterfest Prize Certificate
